What a term!
From having a delayed start and mandated restrictions, we have certainly had a more positive end to the term! I’d like to thank our families for being understanding as we navigated the many, sometimes last minute changes we have had to endure over the course of this term. Our teachers need to be acknowledged for the hard work and adaptiveness they have demonstrated this term many willing to take on extra to ensure our students don’t miss out on anything.

Eco Club
Our school eco warriors meet every Monday to discuss our environmental footprint and what we can do as a school to raise awareness and be more conscious of our environment. We have been creating posters getting ready for our composting project next term and on Thursday we completed a waste audit of all the rubbish we produce as a school in one day. The students will present back the findings at parade next term!

You may have also seen our new vege pods where we will plant seedlings next term these will be located between the Tuckshop and Jnr undercover area if you have any cuttings or would like to donate anything to our garden, please let us know!  Our Environmental Leader, Joey, has even struck a deal with Ulysses Coffee to donate some coffee grounds for our worm farm… We can’t wait to get things underway next term!

Parent Teacher Interviews
These will be held early next term over two evenings in the school hall Tuesday 3rd & Wednesday 4th May. An online booking system will be used and details shared in the first week of next term.

Fun Run
Fun Run news will be shared in the first edition next term. There has been much feedback in relation to trialling a different prize system this year as discussed at P&C (instead of individual prizes, the highest fundraising class & every form returned going in the draw for a class prize). The P&C and school will be putting a survey out next term to gain feedback on this change as well as other feedback from those unable to attend P&C meetings.

Have a lovely Easter break, I look forward to seeing you all next term.
Kind Regards,
Jo McDougall
Principal
